Schools, colleges and a range of national services are on hand across Kent to help students work out their next step, whether results went to plan or not.
Students across Kent have picked up their A-level, T-level and other post-16 vocational and technical qualification results today, with schools and colleges open for young people to collect grades in person – or, at some institutions, online – and talk through what happens next. Kent County Council says support is available whatever the outcome, covering routes into university, apprenticeships, further education, training and employment.
Beverley Fordham, KCC Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, said she wanted to wish every student across Kent the very best as they received their results, adding that there were “many different routes to success” and plenty of people ready to help students take their next step. Christine McInnes, KCC Director of Education, congratulated all students on their hard work and commitment, and said schools and colleges would be on hand to provide guidance and help students understand the options available to them.

Young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who are weighing up what comes next can find tailored guidance through Kent’s SEND Information Hub.
